Stand-up comedian Jordan Leung is serious about being funny.

The up-and-coming artist, who returned to Hong Kong from the US in 2020, has been learning Cantonese slang and catchphrases to tune in with the local audience. He enjoys pointing out local nuances and keeps a notebook in his pocket to help him develop ideas and structure them for a performance. Leung hopes locals can embrace and support other forms of the art.

Mahesh Mansigani has always been the class clown, cracking his first joke at the age of 6 months old…however he couldn’t speak English at that time (or any language other than baby talk) so he was the only one that got it…. !

Performing has always been one of Mahesh’s favourite hobbies, and he took part in and presented many shows in school and at university. Post university Mahesh continued taking part in amateur productions and played the lead role in the 2005 Play ‘A very Sindhi wedding’ in his home town of London.

Mahesh first tried his hand at stand up in 2007 at a Takeout Comedy Stand up workshop….however he did not build up the nerve to debut at open mic night until early ‘09!

Since then Mahesh has been a finalist in the 3rd Hong Kong International comedy competition 2009, opened for major headliners including Kerri Louise, Paul Ogata and Wali Collins and also appeared on Phil Whelan’s RTHK radio 3 show ‘Morning Brew’.

Kari has rapidly risen in the Hong Kong scene since starting comedy in 2018. He's one of

Iceland's greatest exports, and not just because they can't make anything else. Kari's humour revolves around his unique takes on nightlife and trying his best to never self improve. Catch him at a show or claiming he will definitely be home by midnight this time.

Georgia fell into standup after moving back to Hong Kong in the height of the pandemic, and never looked back. She’s used comedy as a way to express herself for years, and to make sense of the ups and downs of her life. Georgia performs regularly in Hong Kong, both to paying audiences and her long-suffering friends and family.
