Young Soy is an art gallery dedicated to the everlasting quest of cultivating and celebrating radical cultural influences.

The Perks of Being Wild is the feature film debut of artist and filmmaker Benson Koo, which tells the story of three local Cheung Chau kids’ on the island during the summer. As they explore the houses of the local residents, secrets of the adult world become known to them, leading them to depart at the cruel crossroad of youth.

Hong Kong-based indie rock band ‘Mr Koo’ reinterprets surf rock through their own lens, blending blue notes and dreamy chords with a psychedelic kick. What started as a one-man recording project by songwriter Ollie Rodgers who takes the name ‘Koo’ from his Asian family name, has now evolved into a powerhouse 5-piece live band. The group draws influence from funk, surf rock and blues, creating a nostalgic sound of summer. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Ollie Rodgers, bassist Tom Chan, keyboard player Andy Mcbain, drummer Kevin Cheng and saxophonist Jun Ho. Now a mainstay in the Hong Kong indie scene, their psychedelic instrumental improvisations combined with raw, soulful vocals continue to captivate audiences.

Pee Break began as a side project born from random encounters between friends which later evolved into a dynamic band. Their sound is an unorthodox blend of post-punk grit and post-country twang, infused with the haunting resonance of traditional Chinese instruments. Each song emerges from the laughter, absurdities, and moments shared among their friend group, creating a raw and experimental sound journey.
