For a limited time, the Big Top will transform into a live music venue like no other. A specially curated line-up of local and international acts will take over the circus ring. MANIA – The ABBA Tribute

The original tribute from London’s West End. A popular favourite from Live at the Big Top 2024, MANIA returns to light up the circus ring.

This tribute takes you back in time by recreating one of the world’s finest pop groups in a live stage performance. This highly polished and professional production was created in 1999 and played its first show in 2000. In 2002, it played 18 weeks in the Strand Theatre London re-creating the ABBA phenomenon for fans from all over the world.

The show has toured internationally in regions as far afield as Venezuela, North America, Tahiti, Mexico, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Luxemburg, and now, Hong Kong, making this the world’s most successful touring ABBA tribute show.

About My Name’5 Doddie Foundation

Doddie Weir OBE was one of rugby’s most recognisable personalities. He earned 61 caps for

Scotland during a successful playing career, represented the British and Irish Lions on their

successful tour to South Africa in 1997, and won championships with his two club sides,

Melrose and Newcastle Falcons.

A talented, committed and athletic lock forward, Doddie then faced his biggest challenge. In

June 2017 the Scot revealed he was suffering from Motor Neuron Disease. From the outset,

Doddie was driven to help fellow sufferers and seek ways to further research into this, as

yet, incurable disease.

In November 2017, Doddie and his trustees launched the registered charity, My Name’5

Doddie Foundation. Our vision is simple: A World Free of MND. The number “5” is a special number for the Foundation. It features in the Foundation’s name and is a reference to

Doddie’s playing number for his clubs, Melrose and Newcastle Falcons, and the jersey he

wore when he earned his 61 caps for Scotland.

The Foundation is committed to helping improve the lives of those affected by Motor

Neuron Disease. We help to fund grants, giving considerable sums to our friends at MND

Association and MND Scotland to administer to individuals and families living with MND.

Terms & Conditions

· Entry to the AIA Carnival is included with each Live at the Big Top ticket purchase.

· Children under 3 years are free of charge, but will not be provided with a seat and should sit on a parent/guardians knee.

· Live at the Big Top foyers open 30 minutes prior to the performance scheduled start time.

· Duration of each performance is approximately 1 hour (with no interval).

· Please contact Zicket.co for group bookings or any other ticketing enquiries.

· The Circus tent is located inside the Carnival. Please display your Live at the Big Top ticket at the Carnival gate to get access.

· Seats are not numbered. It is free seating in the section relevant to the ticket purchased.

· Ticket is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable and only valid on the printed date of the ticket, with exception of clause 3.2. Ticket Exchanges in the Ticketing Terms and Conditions available at www.aiacarnival.com.

· In the event of cancellation, face value of the ticket purchase price can be obtained.

· The Carnival reserves the right to alter admission prices without notice.

· Flash photography is prohibited during the show.

· Unless otherwise permitted by the Carnival, drone flying for any use is strictly prohibited in the Premise.

· From time to time the Carnival or other authorised parties may carry out photography and/or video recording and/or other monitoring within the Premise which may feature visitors. The Carnival reserves the right to use these materials in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format.
